Andy Shepherd is a writer of books for children aged five to twelve. Originally from Essex, she now lives in Cambridge with her husband and two sons. Her debut novel, The Boy Who Grew Dragons, was published in 2019 to great acclaim, and was featured on the Waterstones Children's Book Prize and the Sheffield Book Award shortlists, and the Blue Peter Book Award longlist that year.
