Hello,
As we step into spring, I wanted to take a moment to share some of what we’ve been working on here at Voxblock. This time of year always feels like a fresh start, a chance to set new goals, grow our community, and, of course, bring you more brilliant stories.
Thanks to your wonderful feedback, we’re adding 20 new adult audiobooks to the collection, including a selection of unabridged classics. I’m also in the final stages of confirming some exciting new titles for our children’s library, which we’ll release throughout the year. There’s plenty to look forward to.
At the start of March, we launched our brand-new Voxblock Headphones, and I’m so pleased to see how well they’ve been received. We’ve heard lovely comments about how comfortable they are, which is exactly what we hoped for. Launching the headphones has been a big milestone for us, and it’s opened the door to even more Voxblock accessories. And yes, we’ve been listening closely to your ideas, and one much-requested item is already in development. Watch this space.
We also kicked off our Stories for Schools competition for World Book Day in March, and received over 250 nominations from across the UK. I was genuinely moved by the support you’ve shown for your schools, it made narrowing down a shortlist incredibly difficult! We’re now working closely with the Scottish Book Trust to help select the final winners, and to support schools where listening can really make a difference.
Our relationships with independent bookshops continue to be a priority. We’re now stocked in 20 wonderful indie shops, and our Commercial Director, Wis, is busy finding even more across the country. These partnerships help more families discover Voxblock in their local communities, exactly how we like it.
On the creative front, we’ve been exploring new ways to share a bit more of ourselves with you. You might have seen the Voxblock Challenge on the streets of Edinburgh, or caught Jemima’s Review Corner on our socials. It’s been a joy to open the doors a little and let you in on the day-to-day, and there’s plenty more to come.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support. It really does mean the world.
Warm wishes,
Rebecca
