A Mole Like No Other

Julia B. Grantham is an author, illustrator, doctor and consultant. She lives in the South of England with her husband, son, and two cats, and the many animals, both in their garden and the surrounding countryside. She is an ambassador for the Jane Austen Literary Foundation, and writes and illustrates Austen-inspired travel fiction, but A Mole Like No Other is her first book for children.

Alison Larkin boasts a diverse portfolio as a writer/comedian, having graced Broadway with her presence. She is acclaimed for her exceptional narration skills, having lent her voice to more than 200 audiobooks. Additionally, she has earned recognition as a bestselling author for her novel, "The English American." In 2017, Alison took the initiative to establish "Alison Larkin Presents," a distinctive independent audiobook company situated in the beautiful Berkshires.

Throughout her career, Alison has garnered 11 AudioFile Earphones awards for herself and the talented narrators she has produced or directed. Among her notable narrators are the renowned Golden Voice narrator, Simon Jones, the esteemed Virginia McKenna, the accomplished Tina Packer, and the once lesser-known British narrator, Clive Hayward. It was through hearing Clive's captivating voice on the radio that Alison recognized his talent and decided to enlist him for audiobook readings of "Frankenstein" and "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner."
